FISH TAIL
The salmon had yet to run but this coastal brown bear got lucky where a creek met the sea. Very quickly his fish of the day was demolished, with just the fish tail remaining. As he began to walk away, he smelt something on the wind, another bear perhaps. As his nostrils flared he looked into the distance, priming himself to stand to be sure of any competition in the area. Having my camera as low as possible allowed me to capture the power of the bear up close in beautiful light against a soft blue sky.
