WINGMEN

A bank of fog builds up offshore in the Cook Inlet. The exposed beach glistens silver in the morning light, creating a heavenly vision, as two gulls fly over a foraging coastal brown bear looking for razor clams. These food obsessed gulls are often in close proximity to the clamming bears, looking for scraps or a lucky steal. Often seen as photo-bombing an image, I wanted the gulls to be part of the story and representative of interaction observed.
